Earn CPE credit by completing a self-study program developed from topics covered in the Journal of Accountancy. The study guide (shipped to you in March, June, September, and December) contains valuable supporting information, checklists and practice tools that supplement the Journal articles. Upon successfully completing the guide and the final examination, you can earn up to 12 recommended CPE credits in specified fields of study each quarter.

Objectives:
  • Gain practical, in-depth analysis and insight
  • Remain up-to-date on current developments
  • Identify new issues affecting your practice, clients, or company
  • Develop action plans
  • Maintain skill levels in accounting, taxation, management, technology

Prerequisite:  None

Note:  The North Carolina State Board of Accountancy does not accept CPE Direct credit hours toward its requirements. Other state boards may limit the number of CPE Direct credit hours that can be used to meet their requirements.
